Hotel Okuise Forestpia is situated in the town of Odai, Mie prefecture, where the clearest "Miya river" runs through.
We invite you to experience our simple but warm hospitality with comfort. Come enjoy the peaceful beauty of our property and simply soak your body in the warm water "Okuise Miyagawa Onsen" after walking along the river. The restaurant offers Japanese-French cuisine using local ingredients and seasonings.
Guest Rooms
Okuise Forestpia features eleven hotel rooms and five cottages. There are a few types of hotel rooms: western (beds only), Japanese-western (beds and a tatami mat space), and Japanese (tatami room only). The cottages have a small kitchen and are ideal for long-term guests.
Restaurant & BBQ
The restaurant serves a Japanese-French full course meal for dinner using locally grown ingredients and a Japanese meal set for breakfast. You can also enjoy BBQ in summer and game-meat dinner in winter. The winter special hot-pot meal is available for cottage guests.
Hot Spring
The hot springs have alkaline water that can be the ingredient for beautiful skin. There are a spacious indoor bath, herbal bath, outdoor bath and utaseyu (a stream of hot water falling down on your shoulders).
Location
Situated amid the Okuise Mountains of UNESCO'S biosphere reserve, the hotel gives you a beautiful chillout experience along the clearest creek.

If you a guest staying in the hotel, our hotel provides shuttle transfers to and from the JR Misedani Station (Book in Advance HERE). The free shuttle is also available from/to the Roadside Rest Area (Okuise Odai or Kitsusukikan), or The Takihara Shrine.
